Policy Advisor
35 hours Mon-Fri | £43,000 – £46,000
Your role in our team will be to connect through a diverse network to instigate and influence the policy and system changes needed to resolve homelessness. And advise on what works and what matters, helping to generate new knowledge and evidence.Our ideal candidate is someone who can influence and advise on policy development and implementation, communicate compelling evidence and knowledge – and ask the right questions in the right places. All while taking account of the range of perspectives and challenges experienced across the sector.
Programme Advisor
35 hours Mon-Fri | £43,000 – £46,000
Your role in our team will be to provide project management expertise and oversight to increase the impact of Homeless Network Scotland’s programmes. And pursue opportunities for the organisation to support cross-sector partnerships, alliances and collaborations that are focused on what works and what matters.Our ideal candidate is someone who can help us to keep improving and delivering on our partner’s expectations across our key programmes and projects. We want to welcome an experienced project manager and a highly relational collaborator. Someone who is organised, proactive – who makes things happen.
Communications Lead
35 hours Mon-Fri | £37,000 – £40,000
Your role in our team is to design and deliver a communications, engagement and learning strategy that will mobilise wider participation across our work to connect, learn and act on homelessness.
Our ideal candidate is someone who combines strong writing and content creation skills, with experience of coordinating learning opportunities using creative digital engagement skills. But it might be that you are stronger at some than the other and so long as you can commit to developing with us, then we’d love to hear from you.
Associate
Sessional around 2 hours each week/8 hours a month | £13.74 per hour (£25,000 full-time equivalent)
We are increasing our team of Associates with lived experience of homelessness. 25 posts are available – 10 in Glasgow and 15 across Scotland. You will be joining one of two exciting teams – All in For Change or GHIFT at the Glasgow Alliance to End Homelessness. Around 2 hours each week/8 hours a month is available. Around 4 hours each week/16 hours per month for people who are eligible and want to apply to be part of both teams.
We are looking for Associates who are passionate about making things better for everyone involved in homelessness. People who give off good vibes and are non-judgemental and open minded to different ideas. And who can relate to at least one skill set – as an influencer, connector, researcher or communicator.
