Leanne McGinlay is from Wheatley Care. Leanne’s unwavering compassion and proactive approach have driven greater engagement both in service and in the wider community. Leanne builds trust with individuals who often feel marginalised, always treating them with dignity, respect, and genuine care.

Alistair Wyllie is from East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action (EACHa). Alistair’s greatest strength is his ability to build trust with people who have often stopped trusting everyone else. Using his own lived experience of recovery, he meets people without judgement, creating relationships that help individuals feel safe, respected and understood – often for the first time in years.

Steven McArdle is from Change Grow Live. Steven embodies the values that define Change Grow Live. His presence has made working with people more inclusive, accessible, and person centred. He contributes not only through his time and skills but also through the authenticity, empathy, and respect he brings to every interaction.

Jacqueline McDowell is from Bethany Christian Trust. Jacqueline has a wonderful way of coming alongside people as they work through issues together, with a warm and welcoming yet no nonsense approach. She builds trust quickly with people, applying trauma informed practice in every situation and taking every opportunity to encourage people.

Lois Marwick is from Shelter Scotland. Lois is an incredibly passionate and driven colleague with social justice in her DNA. She has embraced the Shelter Scotland’s Community Model that sets to build the case for change, challenge practice and build capacity across communities and the sector.

Jeri Exley is from Macmillan service, The Advice Shop, City of Edinburgh Council. Jeri plays an integral part of the Macmillan team within The Advice Shop. Working primarily to assist people with cancer and nearing end of life to access financial support, Jeri is consistent with her caring and kind approach towards service users, curating her interactions for each individual and their families.
