Scotland’s transition to Rapid Rehousing

SKU: N/A Category:

A defining aspect of homelessness policy in Scotland over recent years has been the adoption of Rapid Rehousing Transition Plans by Scottish local authorities, including Housing First for people whose homelessness is made harder by experiences such as addiction, mental ill-health and trauma. With the national scaling up of Housing First well underway, this introduction to Housing First and rapid rehousing policy and practice is designed to sit alongside the new Check Up process for Scottish local authorities rolling out in 2022. The session would suit housing officers, housing support workers, social workers and frontline staff who want to understand what rapid rehousing will mean for their services and their tenants in the months and years ahead.
